Hookah Smoking: a type of pipe that individuals use to take tobacco smoke into their lungs, though most come in a variety of flavors. The various aspects of the setup are as follows: the first element is a bowl or a basin, which contains water. This is how it works; when you hold the mouthpiece up and pull a puff, the tobacco gets hot, and the flavored smoke goes through the pipe and the water before you inhale it.
Another fact: according to a survey that concentrated on 105,000 college students in the United States, hookah is as preferred as cigarettes.
2. Joseph Robinson’s Patent (1927)
The origination of the vaping process can be followed back to the year 1927 when American, Joseph Robinson began the roots of the development. He patented a device known as the ‘Mechanical Butane Ignition Vaporizer,’ which got clearance three years later. Nonetheless, Robinson did not immediately decide to cooperate with a vending machine manufacturer and sell his invention by revealing it to the public several years later.

3. Herbert A. Gilbert’s Invention (1960s)
Herbert A. Gilbert came up with a smokeless non-tobacco cigarette in the 1960s that reenacted smoking by blowing in a flavored impression. Unfortunately, despite this creativity, Gilbert’s invention did not appeal much to the manufacturers or the people of that generation.

4. Hon Lik’s Modern E-Cigarette (2003)
Although many different devices have been used since the early eighties to Vaporize liquid Nicotine for inhaling, Hon Lik’s ‘modern electronic cigarette’ was first invented and used in the year 2003.
The use of vaping commenced in the year 2003 when a Chinese pharmacist called Hon Lik invented the first e-cigarette that gave smokers in Beijing a new experience. Lik’s device incorporated a heating element powered by a battery to heat the nicotine solution and propylene glycol to create vapor. The company where Lik was employed is “Golden Dragon Holdings”, which is the company that created the device. They rebranded themselves as Ruyan which means “like smoke”.

5. Vape Commercialization and Market Expansion
Although moderate at the beginning, vaping began to boom after the presentation of Hon Lik’s e-cigarette. Today, millions of vaping units e-liquids, and accessories have flooded the market.

By 2013, the “vaping community” appeared, which considered e-cigarettes as less harmful than conventional cigarettes and even as a separate hobby – vaping—major platforms like E-Cig-Reviews.com. Facebook and Reddit also opened their doors for forums, which seemed to fuel the modding scene among vape enthusiasts.
